Timetable of the school day
FS and KS 1 School doors open at 8:45am and close at 9:00am
KS2 School doors open at 8:45am and close at 8:55 am
Y6 children are to enter school through the doors at the top of the courtyard
Y5 children are to enter school through the Community room doors
Y4 children are to enter school through the double doors in the main playground
Mr Mc Naboe/Mrs Thomson's class are to enter through the doors are the bottom of the courtyard
Mr Young's class will enter directly from the courtyard
All other classes will enter by their classroom doors from the playgrounds
Children start working as soon as they are in the classroom so even missing 5 mins at the start of the day could mean they are missing some vital information that could impact their learning. If your child is late, they may feel uncomfortable coming into class while everybody has started the school day, it also may disrupt the learning of other children in class.
Registers are taken at 8:55am. If your child enters after this, they may be missed of the register. If you bring your child to school after 8:55am- please brig them by the office so that we can ensure they are signed in
PE
Children should come into school in their PE kits on the following days
Monday - Y6
Tuesday - Y2
Wednesday RG, 1G Y3
Thursday Y4
Friday RL, 1L, Y5
Lunchtime
Y1 and Y2 - 11:30-12:30
Y3 and Y4 12:00-1:00
Y5 and Y6 12:30-1:30
End of the school day
FS/KS1 - 3:20pm
KS2 3:25pm
If your child is in Y5 or Y6 we are happy for them to walk home by themselves. You must send a letter into school authorising them to walk home by themselves.
If, on a rare occasion, you need to change your child’s arrangements for walking home, you must ring the office before 3pm. After this time the office is very busy and we can’t guarantee to get the message to the class in time.
