September arrangements for lunchtimes
We intend to have a full school offer for hot lunches again. However, to ensure we restrict mixing between groups of children, lunches will be served alternately in the hall and classroom. To help us with this, parents must order their child’s lunches in advance
Year 3 parents should be aware that universal free school dinners do not apply in KS2 and that payment for meals booked will be required.
If parents are unsure about whether they are entitled to free school meals and need to pay or not, they should contact the school office. We are aware that many families’ situations have changed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and therefore if you could now be entitled to free school meals and the pupil premium funding, please contact the school office and we will support you with this.
To minimise contact with other bubbles, children will have their lunch in the hall or classroom and this will alternate daily.
When eating in the classroom. school lunches will be delivered to the rooms by kitchen staff
Children to work on a two week rota and have lunches in hall/classroom on alternate days.
FS will have the hall each day
In the hall:
• Children to sit on one side of table so no prolonged face to face happens
• Opposite side of each table will be used in next sitting
• Tables will be cleaned between sittings
School Lunches must be ordered in advance
PLEASE CLICK THIS LINK TO SEE THE MENUS FOR THE NEXT THREE WEEKS
You will be sent a link to order your child's luches- this will make clear the options available to your child each day
